Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and authentication credentials. When you use the app, we store the recipes you save (titles, ingredients, instructions, photos, notes, tags, and source URLs), along with basic usage data like recipe view counts and timestamps.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (database and authentication) and hosted on Vercel. Uploaded images are stored in Supabase Storage. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Your recipes are private

Your recipe collection is private by default. Recipes are only visible to you unless you explicitly share them with another user by email. Shared recipes are visible only to the specific person you share them with, not publicly.

Third-party services

• Anthropic (Claude API)— When you import a recipe from a URL, image, or PDF, the content is sent to Anthropic's API for parsing and nutrition estimation. Anthropic does not use this data to train models.
• Google OAuth— If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or other data.
• USDA FoodData Central— Ingredient names are sent to the USDA API for nutrition lookups. No personal data is included in these requests.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies solely for authentication (keeping you signed in). We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies.

Data deletion

You can delete individual recipes at any time from within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will process your request within 30 days.
